The Medical Education Teams work with students from Reception to Year 11, who are unable to attend school for a period of time, due to medical reasons. They work with young people who encounter a range of difficulties that interrupt their schooling and support their return with individual reintegration programmes.

Each student has a tailor-made reintegration plan which is developed in collaboration with parent/carer, student, referring school and medical/mental health professionals and is reviewed every six weeks. Staff from the team support students in the local hospital, working with them in the schoolroom or at the bedside to make a positive difference to their stay.
