CSS work in close partnership with our parents and carers, and your support is welcomed and valued.

When your child is referred to us, you and your child will be invited to an induction meeting. This will give you the opportunity to meet with key members of staff and ask any questions you may have. As a parent/carer, you will then be invited to termly reviews addressing your child’s needs. Your child will also be a appointed a personal tutor, who will contact you on a regular basis, with updates on progress.

Medical and Reintegration Pathway

CSS work in close partnership with our parents and carers, and your support is welcomed and valued. When your child is referred to us, you and your child will be visited at home to complete admissions paperwork and discuss the reintegration programme. This will give you the opportunity to meet with the Team Leader and ask any questions you may have.

Following this, a Reintegration Tutor will visit to introduce themselves and prepare to start the Reintegration programme. The Reintegration Tutor will then meet with your child weekly and support them with their stepped return to school.

As a parent/carer, you will be invited by the Local Authority to attend a review at 6 weeks and again at 12 weeks to decide on next steps.
