We believe that uniform plays an important role in promoting equality and inclusion within our school.
It promotes a sense of belonging and pride among our students, but also reduces peer pressure, reinforces standards and allows students to focus on why they are here, to learn.
At CSS we understand the financial challenge that parents face when having to purchase uniform. To this end, we offer all new students a free pack of uniform at the start of their journey with CSS, which consists of three polos and one sweatshirt.
Compulsory uniform items
Students are able to wear their referring school skirt or trousers.
PE kit uniform
Plain black trousers and skirts can be purchased from most high street retailers and supermarkets.
Additional branded polos and sweatshirts can be purchased from CSS if you choose. A small stock of various sizes will be held at the school. If requested, these items can be added to your child’s ParentPay account for you to purchase.
These items can also be purchased from Schoolwear Centre uniform shops.

We recognise that many of our students have complex needs and we do make reasonable adjustments, please contact your child's tutor or classroom teacher to discuss them.
If your child attends school dressed in the incorrect uniform, CSS will aim to provide the student with a spare polo or sweatshirt sourced from donated uniform. Please be aware that if students refuse to adhere to the uniform policy after we have reiterated our expectations, sanctions will be put in place.
